Project Overview
YLink is a B2B SaaS compliance management platform built for a Dutch startup preparing to launch into the regulated services market. The platform helps businesses centralize operational compliance across all of their locations, simplifying regulatory tracking, ensuring audit readiness, and streamlining service workflows through three core functions: Asset Management for registering equipment and tracking inspection histories and certification statuses, Job Tracking for overseeing service requests, technician assignments, and SLA deadlines in real time, and a Document Vault for storing, organizing, and tracking the expiry dates of compliance certificates and audit reports. I owned the product design end-to-end and developed all user flows across the platform.

The Challenge
YLink was built as a product from scratch, with no existing platform, users, or design system to build on. The core challenge was designing a solution that connects service providers with the businesses that need them, while giving operations teams a clear, at-a-glance way to track compliance across every location. Regulated equipment comes with wildly different maintenance requirements, from weekly checks to multi-year certifications, so the interface had to make sense of dozens of maintenance types and intervals without overwhelming the user.
The Solution
The result is a clear, structured interface that lets businesses track and maintain their compliance with precision, down to individual assets and certification deadlines. YLink ships as three connected experiences: a customer app for businesses to manage assets, jobs, and documents, a service provider app for technicians to manage assignments and SLAs on the go, and an admin console that matches service providers with businesses and oversees the platform end-to-end.
